January 2021 Masterclass
Paint Van Gogh’s “Starry Night”
with Caroline Mustard

In this workshop, Caroline will be using the amazing oil painting tools with ArtRage. You will need to download the app and Caroline will take you on a step by step tutorial on using the oil painting tools to paint your own version of Van Gogh’s famous “Starry Night.: No prior experience with Art Rage required.

February 2021 Masterclass
iColoroma Creativity with Artist Beth Grimm
Sunday, Feburary 21 (1:30pm to 4:00pm PST)
In this class, from three simple images, we will create three different art pieces which are shown here. I’m including the before and after photos. There is so much you can do in Icolorama projects. I can only help you scratch the surface in a few hours but if you pay attention and practice often yourself, you will soon be managing the tools in a better and better position. It’s like playing the piano, the more you practice the more things you try the better you will get!!
You will need to download iColorama for the iPad. That version is in landscape mode. You will need to download iColorama S for your iPhone if you’re using an iPhone. That will give you a portrait version. Keep in mind that using an iColorama for the phone has fewer options than for the iPad but I will have a phone handy and should be able to help you find the menus and so forth. Either way, you should be able to do everything I am demonstrating.

Use Procreate on your iPad to develop full-color paintings from drawings or photos. Instructor Kim Smith will demonstrate her approach to transforming traditional media, such as a drawing or painting, into a digital painting. She will also explain how to share your work on home decor, clothing, and more. This class will focus on flowers, but the skills you learn can be applied to any subject matter.

October Masterclass
Digital Collage with Barbara Braman

In this class we explore creating digital collages in Procreate. We cover layers and their interactions, all types of masking, how to import and alter photos, the color palette, and brushes. It is a complete introduction to using Procreate for people who are not painters, and for painters familiar with Procreate, it introduces features which allow them to introduce outside items into their images and use layers more powerfully.
